Steve Lam joined Corre at inception in 2009. He has worked in the high yield space for over two decades with a particular focus on trade claims. Prior to joining Corre, Steve spent five years as a Research Analyst at Avenue Capital where the majority of his time was spent working in Avenue’s Trade Claim Group. Additionally, Steven analyzed opportunities in distressed corporate loans, bonds, equities and credit insurance. Steve focused on distressed credits in the retail and consumer products sectors, among other industries. Before Avenue Capital, Steve was a Research Assistant at Grantchester Securities, where he assisted a team of high yield Institutional Investor ranked analysts cover the Gaming, Retail, and Cable and Wireline sectors. Steven attended New York University.
